Of Death and Life
What if today was your last day, what if you knew it to be your last day. Wouldn't everything become more vibrant, more meaningful, more important? If you knew you would not see another day wouldn't you listen a bit more carefully, savor your favorite music, eat your food just a bit more slowly, speak to your friends more softly?
I have seen how life can be cut short in an instant. You speak to someone at lunch and then they never come home again, life cut short by a motorcycle accident. Or your mother ages before your eyes and you had no idea her life would end so quickly. You feel you never had enough days taking in the warm, winter sun on the back porch with her.
That is what this image speaks of. It tells the story of how vibrant life can end suddenly and you never even saw it coming. It reminds me about Death and Life and how close they are from one another, a hairlines distance.
A limited edition of 12 prints. There are 11 remaining in the edition.
All-limited edition prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity complete with detailed information about the work such as the title and edition number as well as information about the print including the details of the creation of the image.
